Senior Legal Engineer
LOCATION - Remote or Hybrid, US
EXPERIENCE - 5-8 years
COMPENSATION - $100,000 - $140,000
About the role
As a Senior Legal Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of law and product, owning workflow design and legal quality for the platform.
What you'll do

Design legal workflows
Build structured workflows for review, redlining, research, and compliance analysis with auditable outputs.

Own legal QA
Lead legal QA with test cases, regression checklists, and legal accuracy benchmarks.

Drive client success
Lead onboarding and training while bridging legal users, product managers, and engineering teams.
Minimum qualifications
- JD/LLB with 5+ years in corporate or in-house legal practice.
- Deep understanding of commercial contracts, compliance, and advisory work.
- Strong QA instincts and ability to articulate legal risk clearly.
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Authorised to work in the US.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior exposure to LegalTech, legal ops, or AI legal tools.
- Experience with prompt engineering or workflow automation.
- Cross-border or multi-jurisdictional legal matter experience.
