Associate Attorney
LOCATION - New York, NY or San Francisco / Bay Area, CA (in-person)
EXPERIENCE - 2-4 years
COMPENSATION - $80,000 - $110,000
About the role
As an Associate Attorney, you will deliver real client legal work while helping shape AI-enabled legal service delivery.
What you'll do

Deliver client work
Review, analyse, and redline commercial contracts while supporting negotiations through signature.

Productise your expertise
Create prompts, checklists, and playbooks that convert repeated legal work into scalable systems.

Stress-test the AI stack
Design test sets, label edge cases, and pressure-test workflows until output quality meets legal standards.
Minimum qualifications
- JD and active bar admission with 2-4 years in commercial or corporate practice.
- Strong contracts background across SaaS, licensing, and commercial agreements.
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
- Genuine curiosity about AI and legal workflow improvement.
- Authorised to work in the US and able to work in-person from NY or SF.
Preferred qualifications
- Exposure to LegalTech, legal ops, or in-house legal environments.
- Hands-on use of AI tools, prompt engineering, or workflow automation.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product or engineering teams.
